Create an Authors Template
Today I am continuing on looking for some other cool ideas people have come up with for WordPress. Justin Tadlock is a very active user on the WordPress Forums but today was the first time I got around to checking out his site.
In one post I found, he describes how to create an Authors template. He shows how to use it to showcase multiple authors on a blog. He also shows you how to throw Gravatars into the mix. Excellent site Justin!

The authors template was actually pretty fun to do. I even have a widget in the works for this, but it’ll probably be theme-specific for a while.
One of the things I think that’s lacking is tutorials about how to do things with author information. It’s also one of the areas that I believe has been the least developed by the WP developers. It’d be great to dive into some more neat things with authors in the future, especially with WordPress being used on more and more multi-author sites.
I definitely agree about there not being a whole lot on the authors front. We are starting to see more and more multi-author blogs out there, and I intend to start another blog soon which will have multiple authors once I really get this site cooking.
