Hitting a Wall

So of course lately, I have been hammering away on my site day and night trying to get things really rocking, and things are indeed progressing along very nicely.

However, I’ve had a really hard time pinning down exactly what I want to do with this blog. I use WordPress a lot and have gotten really good at designing as well, as opposed to programming. This fall I will be returning to college and also be working on a few different certifications. I want to work with computer networks as a career. Not hardcore programming and not designing.

So I’m trying to look at this blog not as a programmer or a designer anymore, but as someone who builds and maintains computer networks and has a blog in his free time. I love writing, and I always have. I guess sometimes it is just really weird switching gears like that.

I am really excited about becoming a networking engineer, but on the one hand it’s very weird to think that even though I can design and program, I probably won’t be doing too much of it anymore.
