Last night, the SpaceX corporation hit another milestone by launching yet another rocket. The rocket did not properly separate itself between it’s stages; however anytime they get a rocket off the ground is a step forward. I have heard a great deal of criticism about this, but you have to stop and think about how many times NASA failed until they got most of the bugs worked out. SpaceX is doing this on what amounts to a shoestring budget and a skeleton crew!

Here is a question I poise to all of the designers out there, and not just web or graphic designers. What do you do when you have seemed to hit a wall or block?
I ended up making 3 different mock-ups tonight in Photoshop and basically, I hated them all. I’m trying to do something fresh for the next theme of this website. I become so critical of my own work.
So I pose a question, what do you guys all do when the same thing happens to you?

Let’s all think back a little bit here. A decade ago, when you wanted to search for something on the Web, you actually had to search. As reported on TechCrunch, Google has decided to walk away from the proposed deal with Digg. Once again, this is from TechCrunch, so you sort of have to wonder about Michael Arrington’s sources. However, I am glad for both parties that Google decided to walk away from this deal. Read the rest of this entry »

Earlier in the week, Problogger had we he called a “Social Media Love-In“. A lot of Problogger’s readers are all cut from the same cloth, so we all exchanged addresses for our social media websites. I knew I would find some new friends and some new blogs, but a few days later, it’s obvious it is more than that.

I had to revert the design of the page back as all the tools I use for analytics stopped picking up. All of the necessary codes are where they are supposed to be, yet nothing is picking up. I’ll keep this theme for a few more days as I won’t really have time to look into it today,

Just letting everyone know about the new site design. I am technically working on the next version of the sites look, but I wanted to change it up a bit for a while.
