In this day and age, it gets harder and more complicated to make your blog or web site stand out in the crowd. One of the things that beginning bloggers probably don’t pay attention to as much as they should is search engine optimization (SEO). SEO is the practice of making your site easier to read by search engines and making the necessary changes to facilitate this. These following tips are mostly for WordPress but the concepts can be used on any web site.

So I’ve been waiting for my invite to Woopra, which is a new analytics software for websites. I was starting to get annoyed because it wasn’t exactly easy to set up. Well, I figured it out, and let me tell you one thing:
If you have a web site and you use analytics, you need to check out Woopra NOW.
I will write a full review sometime over the next few days, but so far it’s amazing. It blows Google Analytics right out of the water, and Google Analytics is a fantastic piece of software.
Just iron out a few wrinkles Woopra, and you will have people beating down your door.

For those of you who are using WordPress in business, you will find this plugin very useful. The Branded Admin Plugin can be used to change the login screen for the Admin panel. Now, You don’t need plugin to change this screen, however the problem with not using it is when you go to upgrade WordPress. When you use this plugin, it will protect your new screen from being overwritten and also keeps the original safe.
