Like I stated in a previous post, Woopra Analytics is a fantastic piece of software. I have since had a day to play with it, and he is what I think so far. Continued after the jump……

So I’ve been waiting for my invite to Woopra, which is a new analytics software for websites. I was starting to get annoyed because it wasn’t exactly easy to set up. Well, I figured it out, and let me tell you one thing:
If you have a web site and you use analytics, you need to check out Woopra NOW.
I will write a full review sometime over the next few days, but so far it’s amazing. It blows Google Analytics right out of the water, and Google Analytics is a fantastic piece of software.
Just iron out a few wrinkles Woopra, and you will have people beating down your door.

As I went to check up at the homepage for a backup program I have used for ages, the author had recently updated it to a new version. I must be psychic.
Anyway, Cobian Backup 9 is a program you really should here a lot more about. It is possibly one of the most important programs I have installed. I know plenty of people who have no backup plan at all. Especially in this day and age, you need to have a backup plan in place. If you do not already have a good system in place, download and try this software.
Cobian Backup 9 does not have the most intuitive interface for the beginner, yet it is not confusing. More experienced uses will love that despite having loads of options, you can find what you need very quickly. You can drag and drop the folders you would like to backup right into the main window.
You can save to other available resources on your computer or you can set it to upload to an FTP server. Cobian Backup 9 can also email you when I successful backup is ran.
One other point which will only apply to all of you programmers out there: Cobian Backup 9 is not an open-source program; however the previous version of the program is available as open-source.
The best part about this great program is that it is free. It is better than a lot of other commercially available solutions. If you find the program helpful, consider donating to the author.
